Welcome Message

Welcome to the Coloproctology 2013. This time we are coming back to Kuala Lumpur. Even though this meeting can be held outside Kuala Lumpur, having it in the capital city is most convenient.

Once again, we have invited distinguished speakers from many parts of the world to come to our meeting. For Coloproctology 2012, we held a pre-congress workshop with the College of Pathologists, we are hoping to hold a post-congress workshop with the College of Radiology focusing on Magnetic Resonance Imaging. I am sure all of us would benefit from this update in the treatment of rectal cancer which is the most common malignancy in the large bowel.

We have arranged many interesting topics to be discussed that is of common dilemma amongst us in practice. All the latest updates and recommendations will be put forward to help guide us in making crucial decisions when they are required.

We hope that you will enjoy our meeting with a lot of take home messages.

Thank you,

Dr Wan Khamizar Wan Khazim
